3.3.2018: Programming contest has just begun!

The official Programming Contest has just begun! And you can win cool prizes. Starting now until Friday evening, you have an opportunity to participate in the qualification phase of the Programming Contest. Throughout these days, you can create, submit and test your contest code, which controls the movement of your snake in the Snake game. A snake code that meets all the requirements of this phase will qualify its creator for the tournament phase, which will take place during the PyCon SK 2018 conference. Your contest code can not be submitted or modified during the tournament phase.

The main phase of the programming contest will have a form of a single-elimination (knockout) tournament. In every match-up, two robot snakes (programs) will stand against each other and only the snake which earns the highest score during one game will advance to the next round. The winner of the tournament will be determined by the duel presented live on Saturday, during the grand finale.
